The Palestinian Insurance Federation (PIF) Holds Its Annual Ordinary Meeting
The General Assembly of The Palestinian Insurance Federation held its 27th Ordinary Meeting today, Wednesday, June 24, 2026, at the Federation's headquarters.
The Chairman of the Board of Directors, Mr. Anwar Shanti, opened the session after establishing a legal quorum of the General Assembly. The Assembly subsequently approved the annual report on the Federation's operations and activities, the financial statements, the final accounts, and the independent auditor's report for the fiscal year 2025.
Furthermore, the General Assembly discharged the Board of Directors of its liabilities, and elected Talal Abu-Ghazaleh & Co. as the external auditor for the fiscal year 2026.
For his part, the Chairman of the Federation, Mr. Anwar Shanti, expressed his deep appreciation for the dedicated efforts of the Federation's family—including the Board of Directors, the General Secretariat, the executive teams, and the technical committees—noting that their contribution has had a profound impact on strengthening the Federation's presence and its ongoing endeavors to protect the insurance industry and support the national economy.
