The Ministry of Transport and Communications and the Palestinian Federation of Insurance Companies Launch the Initiative “Our Presence Protects You… Your Speed Harms You”
Because your safety is the priority, and so that families can reunite safely around the iftar table, a field-based road safety awareness initiative was launched today from the heart of Ramallah (Best Eastern Roundabout – Al-Irsal Street), simultaneously in the governorates of Hebron, Nablus, Bethlehem, and Tulkarm, under the slogan: “Our Presence Protects You… Your Speed Harms You.” The initiative was organized by the General Administration of Traffic Awareness and fully sponsored by the Palestinian Federation of Insurance Companies, in cooperation and coordination with the Field Monitoring and Inspection Unit, and with the active participation of the Palestinian Traffic Police. Teams were present in the streets distributing symbolic gifts to drivers and passengers, accompanied by messages of care and safety awareness.
