The Palestinian Federation of Insurance Companies Participates in the 7th Sharm El-Sheikh Insurance and Reinsurance Forum
The Palestinian Federation of Insurance Companies participated in the 7th Sharm El-Sheikh Insurance and Reinsurance Forum, organized by the Egyptian Insurance Federation from November 8 to 10, 2025, in Sharm El-Sheikh, with wide participation from representatives of Arab and international insurance markets.
The Palestinian delegation included Anwar Al-Shanti, Chairman of the Board of the Palestinian Federation of Insurance Companies, and Riyad Al-Atrash, Board Member of the Federation and General Manager of Takaful Palestine Insurance Company.
In his statements, Al-Shanti emphasized that the Federation’s participation in this forum reflects its commitment to strengthening cooperation and communication with Arab and international insurance markets, and to exchanging expertise and knowledge, which contributes to the development of the Palestinian insurance market.
He added that this year’s Palestinian participation holds special significance, as it affirms the active presence of the Palestinian insurance market despite the siege and war conditions, noting that such events provide opportunities to enhance integration and cooperation among Arab markets in various insurance and reinsurance fields.
Al-Shanti extended his sincere thanks and appreciation to Alaa El-Zuhairi, Chairman of the Egyptian Insurance Federation, praising his outstanding leadership and exceptional management skills, which continuously contribute to the development of both the Egyptian and Arab insurance sectors. He also thanked him for the excellent organization, performance, and hospitality.
It is noteworthy that the 7th Insurance and Reinsurance Forum witnessed the participation of 1,059 representatives from 37 countries and included 26 speakers comprising senior experts and insurance leaders, continuing to establish the forum as one of the most prominent Arab and international platforms for exchanging expertise and insights in this vital sector.
