Palestinian Insurance Federation Participates in the Launch of the Winter Vehicle Inspection Campaign – 2025
The Palestinian Insurance Federation, with the attendance of several member insurance companies, took part today, Monday, 03 November 2025, in the launch of the Winter Vehicle Inspection Campaign organized by the Ministry of Transport and Communications, in partnership with the Palestinian National Police represented by the Traffic Department. The campaign was launched simultaneously across several governorates (Ramallah and Al-Bireh, Nablus, Hebron, and Jerusalem suburbs) to encourage citizens to ensure the safety of their vehicles, thereby promoting road safety and security.
For his part, the Secretary General of the Federation, Mr. Kayed Ma’ari, stated that this campaign has become an annual tradition implemented in cooperation with the police, the Ministry of Transport and Communications, and the private sector — particularly the insurance companies operating in Palestine — with the aim of enhancing road safety. Ma’ari emphasized that traffic awareness is both a moral and national duty that the Federation is committed to sustaining.
During the event, vehicles that successfully passed the inspection were marked with a special sticker, and symbolic gifts were distributed to drivers who adhered to safety standards — a step aimed at reinforcing a culture of compliance and preventive vehicle maintenance.
His Excellency Muhammad Hamdan, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Transport and Communications, affirmed that the campaign comes as part of the Ministry’s ongoing efforts, in collaboration with its partners, to enhance road safety and reduce traffic accidents during the winter season. He pointed out that the Ministry continues to implement awareness and monitoring programs to achieve the highest safety standards on Palestinian roads.
