PIF and the Pharmacists' Syndicate Agree to Resolve Outstanding Issues


The Palestinian Insurance Federation and the Pharmacists' Syndicate announced on Saturday that they have reached an agreement to address the outstanding issues between the two parties.

The meeting was held in the presence of Mr. Anwar Al-Shanti, President of the Palestinian Insurance Federation; Mr. Bashar Hussein, Vice President of the Federation; Mr. Abdel Hakim Al-Qassem, Member of the Federation’s Board of Directors; Mr. Kaid Ma’ari, Secretary-General of the Federation, along with the accompanying delegation; and Dr. Ayman Khammash, President of the Pharmacists' Syndicate, along with the Syndicate’s Health Insurance Committee.

In a joint press release issued today, both parties confirmed that the agreement includes the settlement of outstanding financial dues owed to pharmacies and the signing of a comprehensive Memorandum of Understanding between the Syndicate and the Federation. This memorandum addresses all financial, technical, and legal aspects to safeguard the rights of both parties.

Mr. Anwar Al-Shanti, President of the Palestinian Insurance Federation, affirmed that the Federation seeks to build a strategic relationship with all components of the Palestinian healthcare sector to strengthen the resilience of the Palestinian people and support the economic cycle amid the significant political and economic challenges they face.

In the same context, Dr. Ayman Khammash, President of the Pharmacists' Syndicate, emphasized the Syndicate's responsible approach to the current situation in Palestine and the importance of collective and coordinated efforts to overcome these challenges while ensuring the rights of pharmacists are preserved.
