Mr. Hamzeh Shrouf
Member Of The Board – General Manager of Palestine Insurance Company
The Board of Directors of Palestine Insurance Company has appointed Mr. Hamzeh Al-Shurouf as General Manager, succeeding Mr. Yahya Abu Aida, a board member who served as General Manager since September 2018.
Mr. Al-Shurouf brings with him over 13 years of experience in law, management, and insurance. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Law from Al-Quds University (2008) and is licensed to practice law by the Palestinian Bar Association.
He has extensive expertise in the insurance sector, having served as a legal advisor to several insurance companies in Palestine. Regionally, he held the position of President of the Arab Organization for Young Lawyers – Palestine Branch.
Mr. Al-Shurouf joined Palestine Insurance Company in 2013 as Director of the Legal Department, where he was responsible for managing and following up on the company’s legal affairs. In 2019, he was promoted to Deputy General Manager, overseeing the company's overall operations, including production, finance, and administration. In May 2020, he was appointed Acting General Manager, during which he led comprehensive development initiatives across all aspects of the company.
As General Manager, Mr. Al-Shurouf will assume full responsibility for overseeing the company's administrative, financial, and technical operations. He will also lead the company’s strategic and tactical planning processes, play an active role in defining and formulating objectives, and organize workflow to ensure the achievement of these goals.
The Board of Directors and management expressed their appreciation to Mr. Yahya Abu Aida for his significant contributions and leadership, which played a key role in the growth and development of Palestine Insurance Company over the past three years, positioning it as one of the leading insurance companies in the Palestinian market.
