Mr. Nihad Asa'd
Member Of The Board – General Manager of Al Mashreq Insurance Company
Mr. Nihad Asaad began his professional career in the insurance sector over 30 years ago at the Arab Insurance Corporation. He progressed through various positions until his appointment as Secretary General of the Palestinian Insurance Federation in 2008. His expertise and passion for the profession brought about a significant transformation in the Federation’s operations. Notably, he played a key role in organizing the First and Second Palestine Insurance Conferences, which welcomed numerous participants from across the Arab world. These efforts helped establish strategic relationships with a wide range of partner sectors both within the Arab region and internationally. Mr. Asaad has also served on several boards, including the Palestinian Road Accident Victims Compensation Fund.
He holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration and a second degree in Educational Administration.
Since 2013, Mr. Asaad has served as the General Manager of Al Mashreq Insurance Company. Under the guidance of the company’s Board of Directors and its CEO, the company continues to strive toward innovation and excellence in the services it provides to its clients and policyholders. Al Mashreq Insurance boasts a robust insurance portfolio that includes some of the largest Palestinian companies, along with a strong solvency margin, solid reinsurance programs with leading global firms, and well-supported reserves that contribute to the company’s growth, resilience, and national presence.
Additionally, Mr. Asaad serves as a board member of the Commercial Real Estate Investment Company, among other roles.
